The primary reason to convert SVG files to PNG is to make them more versatile for web use and other applications that do not support SVG. PNG files are widely supported across all platforms and applications, making them more accessible for everyday use.
Since PNGs are not compressed, they maintain their original quality, which is beneficial for preserving the integrity of specific images.
However, be cautious when converting SVG to PNG if you plan to use the image at various sizes. Since PNG is a raster format, resizing it can lead to quality loss, unlike the vector SVG format.
